Statement of Faith

​

• We believe the Bible is given by inspiration of God and is our final authority. (2 Tim. 3:15-16 KJB)

• There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Each is a Person distinct from the others, but inseparable, coequal, coeternal, unlimited and unchanging in power, presence and knowledge. (Matt. 28:19, I Tim. 2:5; Isa. 44:6; John 10:30, Eph. 4:4-6, II Cor. 13:14, 1 John 5:7)

• We believe in the full humanity and full deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (Luke 1:35; Rom. 1:3-4; 1 Cor. 15:1-8; Phil. 2:6-11)

• All men are by nature dead in trespasses and sins. They are therefore unable on their own to do anything pleasing to God. (Ephesians 2:1-3; Romans 3:9-12)

• God justifies ungodly sinners by His Grace through faith in the finished work of Christ.  Salvation is bestowed as a free gift of God apart from man’s works (Rom. 3:24-28; Rom. 5:1,9; Eph. 2:8,9).

• Jesus Christ was resurrected bodily from the dead (I Cor. 15:4).  All men will have a bodily resurrection (Acts 24:15): the saved to everlasting glory and the unsaved to everlasting punishment (John 5:29; Rev. 20:11-15)
